EASY HOLIDAY TRUFFLES

My kids and I enjoy making these every year, they are so easy and DELICIOUS
and make great gifts. Nothing says "I care" more than handmade goodies
during the holidays.........

2 1/2 pkg. (20 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
8 oz. cream cheese, softened

Melt 8 chocolate squares. Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy; stir
in melted chocolate. Refrigerate until firm. (Option: a few drops
peppermint extract to make chocolate mint truffles)

Shape into 36 balls. Place on wax paper-covered tray.

Melt remaining chocolate. Use fork to dip truffles; return to tray.
Decorate with finely chopped peanuts, sprinkles, chopped peppermint, etc.
Or coat with powdered sugar or cocoa power instead of dipping in chocolate.
Use your imagination here and have FUN. This is where the kids have a
blast! Put finished product in mini-cupcake foil liners. Refrigerate 1
hour before indulging. Keep leftovers cool.

For gift giving, place truffles in a decorative box or tin.

We'll be emailing your your coupon code shortly! Thank you to all who particpated in the Favorite Holiday Recipe Contest. Here are a few of the recipes we had permission to post.
